A Lumpy had a very bad day. Not only he failed to be on time on first meeting point so he had to listen to scolds from his boss, not only his Vehicle was very over weight today, not only some talking heads in TV were keep blabbing about upcoming war with soviets or other Chinese, no all of this were not enough, just few moments ago he found out he's favorite TV show is being cancelled due to financial troubles. Just when he realized all of his problem suddenly a dog jumped out on the road! In desperate attempt Lumpy tried to avoid the poor creature, he succeed but the entire Nuka Cola Truck he was carrying started to rotate in wild chaotic maneuver. Few second later the huge transport of Nuka Cola meet the ground. Lumpy itself was transported to the hospital, which happened to be in evacuated to Bakersfield Vault when Nuclear fire started 2 hours later.

Is this story true? Dunno, personally i think it is as good as any other explanations, as one thing is certain. You just encountered Overturned Nuka Cola Truck! Happy looting! The location is quite simple - all interesting things are placed in center of location. On the ground you can find 2 Nuka Colas, 8 Empty Bottles, 3 crates and one bones.

In the first crates you will find: 2x Bottle Caps, 8x Empty Bottles, 6x Nuka Colas. In the second crate: 1x Junk, 3x Empty Bottles, 10x Bottle Caps and a 3x Nuka Colas, the third crate contains: 1x Junk, 1x Empty Hypodermic, 36x Bottle Caps, 6x Nuka Colas. Pretty boring each? (The goods in this crates are random, sometimes you will find something else, it will be always some regular stuff though.)

The bones container is the interesting one you can find there: 3932x Bottle Caps,1x Cat's Paw, 23x Small Energy Cells, 1x Laser Pistol and a Metal Armor. Some wastelander died here. Perhaps of Nuka cola overuse?

Throwbacks

This special encounter is a throwback to special encounter from 2238 - it was very similar in that server, except the crates were protected by lock and whole place was guarded by angry centaur. Both special encounters, the one here and the one in 2238 can be very easily considered as a throwback to Fallout 1 special encounter. Except the caps spawn here and in 2238 unlike the original Fallout 1 encounter is not depending on the luck of its visitors, in other words the amount of caps is always fixed.
