Description

Note: Due to Brotherhood of Steel faction being blocked in session 3 due to rework, this place is nearly totally useless. Currently there is no way of getting into lower levels and NPC's located here are useless. The Time of Brotherhood didn't come yet.

After the bombs fell, in the event called The Exodus, captain Roger Maxson led his men and their families to the old government bunker in Lost Hills. They subsequently formed what is now know as the Brotherhood of Steel.

”

The Lost Hills Bunker, a government bomb shelter and command/control center dating back to pre-war times, is the main headquarters for the Brotherhood of Steel. Located between the Hub and San Francisco, It became BoS headquarters after the founder, Captain Maxson, led soldiers there from Mariposa Military Base in an event dubbed the "Exodus" in Brotherhood history. The bunker contains four underground levels, each accessible by a single staircase.

In recent years, the surface of the base was greatly improved, with additional buildings being added including a vehicle storage and repair bay. To protect their vehicles, the Brotherhood has developed some kind of propriatary locking mechanism that cannot be penetrated by even the most advanced lockpick techniques. However, research has found that this locking mechanism is too expensive to be added to all vehicles used by the Brotherhood, so only a few vehicles at the base are impenetrable to lockpicking.

While Lost Hills is the official Brotherhood of Steel headquarters, intelligence and surveillance data indicates that the Brotherhood also uses several other, more secretive locations to store their most prized technology. In addition, some individual members of the Brotherhood have their own covert opreations centers peppered sporadically throughout the wasteland.

Finally, dont engage with BoS members on surface, they will be protected by the BoS NPCs. Please note that cars placed on surface of Lost Hills base can be lockpicked but the underground parking is safe from any lockpicking attempts.

• 5 - Knight Matthews, an NPC thats recruiting wastelanders to BoS faction.

Underground levels 1-4

So far, they are used by BoS faction members as a private chambers and such. The level 2 is an undeground parking.
